Massachusetts should again require students to pass the MCAS exam to graduate from high school.
Voters removed the MCAS exam as a statewide graduation requirement in 2024, leaving graduation standards to local districts. This would bring back passing the exam as a condition for a diploma.

So I do not support getting rid of MCAS.
I don't want different requirements for Chelsea than Wellesley, for example. You know, there's got to be some uniform requirement.
