Georgia should create a statewide fund to finance affordable housing construction.
Georgia supports affordable housing mainly through federal funds and housing tax credits, and some cities run their own housing funds. A statewide fund would use state money for grants and low-interest loans to build or preserve affordable homes.

We were able to do it in the city of Atlanta with grants and small interest loans. That's something I want to see scale statewide.
