Arizona should opt into the federal tax credit for donations to private school scholarship groups.
A 2025 federal law created a tax credit for donations to scholarship groups, but it applies in a state only if the state opts in, and an Arizona bill to do so was vetoed. Opting in would let Arizona taxpayers claim the federal credit for such donations.
